Ashland Hiking Home

Over a dozen people turned out for a beautiful morning hike up Upper Table Rock.  David and I tried to damp down the urge to stop for wildflowers, but I soon left David to lead at the front  to hang out with Patricia to stop and exclaim over blooms.  Happy to report the Blue and Grand camas are starting to blossom in force.

Several hikers had not hiked Upper Table Rock before and marveled at the views from the top.  We made our way across the mesa over to the radio tower and a little past it to look for tadpoles in the shallow pond and sit down for lunch.   Afterwards we headed back down as the temperature was heating up.
